I have been using SoundTap for a couple of months now. On my older computer, with Windows XP Home, it performs flawlessly, and I am very pleased with the results. On my latest computer with Windows Vista Home Premium I have had very serious problems. Quite often I get a BSOD as soon as I try to start SoundTap. I have a feeling it may be related to the Realtek sound chip on my Gigabyte motherboard but I\'m not certain. I would like to try and install an older version of SoundTap but I don\'t know where to ...

I like it a lot I just can`t afford it I declined to purchase the system because it was a little pricey from me as a college student right now. I was pleased with its performance though

SoundTap Streaming Audio Recorder Works like a charme, was looking for a program that could capture sound/audio from mozilla firefox. I already installed like 10 different applications but they all didn't worked, at least not easily. SoundTap doesn't work on my Vista 64 bits though, but i have a windows xp 32 bits laptop which i installed it on. It installs a second audio driver and sets that as the default for xp. then all audio you play will just be captured by this device. You can then export it to a wave file. Excactly the program i was looking for :)

RecordPad Sound Recorder Brief Review As not v. experienced RP_S_R user, I had only difficulties to recognize whether I record stereo or mono mode. Some more apparent sign (color of microphone… ?) might be seen. I have stilldifficulties to set proper volume level in my PC sound cart, as the matter of fact sound cart volume level needs to be set very low to not get over-control record ?.

RecordPad is a very good little tool, but since I was trying to save an audio streaming youtube, it was unable to capture the audio information as the youtube file played. Other than that, RecordPad is perfect for all other audio-capturing applications. I probably didn't do enough research about what RecordPad offered when I selected it, or otherwise didn't understand that it couldn't collect streaming audio. Does what it says on the tin Where GarageBand falls down (as with all Apple Software) is that it isn't very good at exporting to standard file formats, so you cannot record and save something in MP3 or WAV format. It is therefore useless for recording vocals or a live mix. great, simple sound recorded While I am a professional sound guy, my Dad isn't. He needed a simple, easy to use Mac OS X voice recorder, and this is just about perfect. Only complaint is that the playlist window does not remember it's position from one launch to the next.

Missing a key feature My use requires an app to run in the background and do the following:(1) based on non-silence encountered, create new audio file and record.(2) based on silence for a user-defined duration, close opened audio file

Not for me The program does not differentiate what is coming through the sound card and what the computer mike picks up -- the program lays down both in the audio tracks. Not helpful to have room noises in a recording.

I make Movies about a game called San Andreas Multiplayer and When Im recording it only shows a little bit of the game I don't know if its a problem of that program because hypercam 2 its the same Problem I dont know... Trouble with end video. The program is easy to use but I can not record streaming video without the end result being very choppy. I tried using all codes. If I could get this issue resolved I might think about buying the software.

An overall easy to use screen recorder. I have been using this program for a while, and thought that I would hand in my opinion on this program. terrible This product is terrible.. The free version did NOTHING. I can understand a trial lasting 15 or even 30 days but for the trial version on this product you only get 60 secconds of record time, and the recording did not even work! The cost of the full version is crazy to just record something that is right on your screen. 1 minute limit makes no sense? I am interested in obtaining a program that will allow me to make timer recordings of streaming audio.I decided to download the trial version of audio recorder pro to determine if the program will meet my needs before purchasing it.However the trial version limits the duration of recordings to only 1 minute rendering the it pretty much useless for the purpose of evaluation.I thought this was rather ridiculous and did not waste any more of my time with it.I went on to download a similar program from a different vendor and it meets my needs quite well ...
